Ophthalmology Products:
IOL Master: Today, selecting the right IOL to
meet individual patient expectations is more crucial than ever. The
IOLMaster biometry incorporates advancements designed with the
challenges of today’s cataract practice in mind: precision,
simplicity, outcomes. 10 years of clinical experience result in IOL
calculations surgeons can trust.
Slit lamp: The slit lamps from Carl Zeiss
feature outstanding performance. The optical transmission of the
observation system is extremely high. This results in a minimal
light loss in observation and documentation, which in turn reduces
light levels for the patient. Due to the high resolution, even the
finest structures become visible with a high contrast. The stereo
angle of 12.5° provides for the improved three-dimensional
differentiation of details to assist in obtaining a reliable
diagnosis.
Phaco Machine: The new Visalis 100 system
enables the surgical removal of the natural, diseased lens from the
eye during cataract surgery (phaco-emulsification). With this new
system, Carl Zeiss Meditec is further expanding its extensive
offering of innovative solutions for eye surgery.
Fundus Camera (Visucam): Superior patient
comfort, more efficient workflow and improved eye care: The
advantages of the all-in-one non-mydriatic fundus platform VISUCAM
from ZEISS are obvious. The high-quality system provides everything
you need for detailed diagnoses of typical eye diseases like
diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and AMD in a single workplace.
Advanced features such as fundus autofl uorescence, easy stereo
image handling and innovative assessment of macular pigment density
are combined with intelligent auto functions that enable
reproducible and intuitive imaging for every single patient eye.
Topography (ATLAS 9000): The ATLAS System has
been proven to deliver the clinical accuracy and workflow efficiency
that your practice requires. The all-in-one system combines a suite
of unique technologies that is simple for virtually any operator to
use. The result is a new level of confidence in every exam and for
every patient.
GDx VCC: The Zeiss GDx VCC (Glaucoma Detection
with Variable Corneal Compensation) retinal scanner a optometric
diagnostic instrument that performs a non-obtrusive retinal scan
that measures the thickness of the retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL)
without dilation. A change in the thickness of this nerve layer is
an early risk factor for glaucoma.
Visante OCT: Visante OCT is the first
stand-alone, high-resolution optical coherence tomography (OCT)
imaging system for the anterior segment of the eye, including the
cornea, iris, angle and the lens. The Visante OCT software allows
for precise evaluation, measurement and analysis of the anterior
segment. Practical tools enable detailed planning and measurement of
anterior segment structures, including anterior chamber depth (ACD),
anterior chamber angles and the angle-to-angle distance (anterior
chamber diameter). Visante OCT also aids postoperative evaluation by
allowing imaging and measurement of intraocular lenses (IOLs) and
implants in the eye.
Stratus OCT: The Stratus OCT incorporates
optical coherence tomography technology to provide comprehensive
imaging and measurement of glaucoma and retinal disease. Stratus OCT
is the gold standard in vivo imaging device for the posterior
segment and offers proven reproducibility for disease management.
Cirrus HD-OCT: Cirrus HD-OCT, the modern OCT
standard, is now available in two models: Cirrus HD-OCT 400 and
Cirrus HD-OCT 4000. Both systems are quick and easy to operate,
providing unique views of the retina due to precision segmentation
algorithms and superb quality images, and provide the best possible
basis for reliable diagnosis and treatment decisions for pre and
post cataract surgical assessment, management of retinal disorders
and glaucoma progression analysis.
Visante Omni: The Visante Omni, by Zeiss,
integrates anterior topography from the company’s Atlas cornea
topographer with Visante OCT pachymetry. The system utilizes a
series of strict criteria to prevent potential misalignment. The
Visante Omni produces high-resolution images, such as full-width
anterior segment imagery and complete anterior chamber angle
visualization and measurement, and it creates a Holladay Report (a
one-page overview of the patient’s corneal pachymetry and topography
data) for advanced analysis.
Humphrey FDT: Humphrey FDT The Humphrey® FDT
Visual Field Instrument with patented Welch Allyn frequency doubling
technology provides the eyecare professional with a rapid,
clinically verified and affordable method for the detection of
visual field loss. With minimal set-up time and test times as low as
45 seconds, the Humphrey FDT is fast enough to screen all of your
patients. For positive screening results, threshold tests provide
additional diagnostic information. The 19-pound tabletop Humphrey
FDT is portable, easy to operate, and can be used in normal lighting
conditions and without trial lens correction. The Humphrey FDT is an
excellent choice for building your practice.
Humphrey Matrix: The Humphrey Matrix represents
the latest breakthrough in visual field testing. Combining the
capability to detect glaucoma early and accurately with tools for
long-term management, the Humphrey Matrix enables you to manage your
glaucoma patients for life. The Humphrey Matrix represents the
latest advancement in clinically validated glaucoma management. This
instrument will further enhance your ability to conduct a thorough
visual field evaluation and assess treatment alternatives. The
Humphrey Matrix allows you to store, retrieve and analyze patient
test data so you can provide complete care from initial diagnosis to
long-term management.
Humphrey HFA II-i: Validated by more than 25
years of research, design and clinical experience, HFA is the
accepted standard of care in glaucoma diagnosis and management. With
over 60,000 installed units worldwide, the Humphrey Field Analyzer
is the premier automated visual field perimeter.
Ophthalmic Lasers: Exceptionally precise in beam
delivery and treatment accuracy, exceptionally convenient and
intuitive to operate includes: VISULAS 532s, MEl 80 Excimer laser,
Visumax Femtosecond laser.
MEL 80™ Excimer Laser: The MEL 80 with a speed
of 250 Hz, is a top quality Carl Zeiss Meditec product, designed to
make the correction of vision defects even safer, more
patient-friendly and individual. All the parameters of this
ultramodern work platform are oriented towards increasing
efficiency, achieving optimum treatment results and the rapid
recovery of vision. Key factors here are the extremely fast
ablation, 0.7 mm spot size, customized treatment planning with the
optional CRS-Master, the high-performance eyetracker system and the
"Eye Registration" torsion compensation system.
Zeiss VISUMAX Femtosecond Laser: With a laser
pulse rate of 500 kHz, the VisuMax femtosecond system from Carl
Zeiss Meditec sets new standards of efficiency in corneal surgery.
VisuMax combines excellent incision precision with best-in-class
speed and treatment comfort in performing advanced femtosecond laser
applications. This translates into shorter procedures, enhanced
workflow and higher patient satisfaction. The VisuMax is the latest
in a series of femtosecond lasers and offers new possibilities and
surgical options for LASIK surgery like FLEX(Femtosecond Lenticule
Extraction) and SMILE (Small Incision Lenticule Extraction).
